How to find the formula, weight and IUPAC name
Short answer: Select your molecule and click Info. The panel shows the name, formula and weight. Click Copy IUPAC to copy the name.

The steps in text
Step 1: Draw ethanol
- Draw one bond. Change the left atom to O.
- Click C in the palette. Then click the right atom with the bond tool to add a carbon.
Step 2: Open the Info panel
- Press Ctrl+A to select all.
- Click Info at the top.
Step 3: Copy the IUPAC name
- In the Info panel, click Copy IUPAC.
