How to clean up a chemical structure

The steps in text

Step 1: Draw toluene

  1. Click the benzene button in the ring bar. Click the canvas.
  2. Pick the single bond tool. Click the top atom of the ring.

Step 2: Clean up the drawing

  1. Click Cleanup structure in the tools row. It is the magic wand button.

What does Cleanup structure do?

It redraws your structure with even bond lengths and standard angles. Atoms and bonds stay the same.

Can I undo a cleanup?

Yes. Press Ctrl+Z.
