How to align, arrange and space out structures
Short answer: Select several structures. Use the align buttons above the selection to line them up, then Distribute to space them evenly.

The steps in text
Step 1: Draw three separate bonds
- Pick the single bond tool.
- Click three empty spots at different heights.
Step 2: Align them on one line
- Press Esc. Then press Ctrl+A to select all.
- Click Align on horizontal centres in the bar above the selection.
Step 3: Space them evenly
- Keep them selected.
- Click Distribute horizontally.
