How to add text and shapes to a drawing

The steps in text

Step 1: Add a label

  1. Pick the Text tool (the T in the tools row).
  2. Click an empty spot. Type Figure 1. Press Esc.

Step 2: Draw two shapes

  1. Click the Draw tab at the top.
  2. Pick Rectangle. Drag on the canvas.
  3. Pick Circle. Drag again.

Can I add images?

Yes. Use Image in the Draw tab. PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF and SVG work.

How do I change text size?

Select the text and use Color and style.
