Hey there, Today I let one of my student use MolDraw to better understand drawing skeletal formulas. The Teaching settings helped a lot. There was one thing that seemed counterintuitive. Clicking a bond makes it a double bond, but clicking it again makes it a single bond instead of a triple bond. In my opinion it should go from single to double to triple back to single bonds.
There should be a zoom scale icon beside the zoom in and out that serves two functions: select a zoom, but more importantly, tell us what zoom we currently are in.
In the color and style panel, the custom color can't be applied to the structure. It can only be selected.
Right now there is only one setting for the highlight format and it is too big. I would like to select different highlight thickness.
Right now, the bond thickness applies to all the molecules displayed even if there is a selction. The purpose is to create a tailored highlight.

I’d like to draw sugars as clean Haworth projections with the thicker front lines (Wikipedia example attached). However if I draw the closer end with thick lines or wedge and thick lines the edges of the lines do not join. Screenshots attached. Thanks, Joseph

Hi Ramon, Thanks for the feedback, and glad the Teaching settings helped your student! You're right, and it's fixed: clicking a bond now goes single → double → triple → back to single. Refresh MolDraw to get it. (The double-bond tool still moves a double bond's lines left / centre / right on each click.) your feedbacks helped a lot to make the app education friendly. all further suggestions are welcome
