MolDraw Community Guidelines

The MolDraw Community exists for helpful, safe chemistry drawing discussions, learning, product feedback, and research workflows.
What Belongs Here
- Chemical structure drawing questions, Ketcher editing tips, export workflows, 3D visualization, spectra tools, and teaching use cases.
- Bug reports, feature requests, screenshots, and constructive feedback about MolDraw.
- General educational chemistry discussion that is safe, lawful, and appropriate for students, educators, and researchers.
Not Allowed
- Instructions, recipes, optimization, or troubleshooting for illegal drug synthesis or controlled-substance production.
- Explosives, incendiaries, weaponization, harmful/toxic misuse, poisoning, or instructions that enable injury or property damage.
- Unsafe lab instructions that omit necessary controls, PPE, waste handling, or legal/compliance requirements.
- Medical, clinical, diagnostic, dosage, or treatment advice. The community is not a medical advice service.
- Harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, spam, impersonation, or sharing private personal information.
- Copyrighted, confidential, or proprietary content that you do not have permission to share.
Posting and Uploads
- Keep posts clear, specific, and relevant to chemistry drawing or MolDraw workflows.
- Only upload images that you have the right to share and that do not contain private or sensitive information.
- Do not upload malicious files, misleading screenshots, or content intended to bypass moderation.
Reporting and Moderation
Use the Report button on posts, comments, or feature requests if you see spam, abuse, privacy issues, unsafe chemistry, illegal activity, weaponization, or medical advice.
MolDraw admins may hide, remove, review, or restrict content and accounts to protect the community. Moderation decisions prioritize safety, legal compliance, and usefulness for students and researchers.
