The lone pair submenu has 7 items which all have the same symbol. For better clarity I'd suggest: - A line for "Line (bar)" - Double dot with a small 1 on top for "Add one lone pair to all" - Double dot with ∀ or ∞ on top for "Add all lone pairs" - For remove lone pairs empty double dots ⚬⚬. Maybe it is possible to change some of the behaviour to get rid of one symbol: ●● Lone pair (Dots): adds lone pairs as dots and changes lone pairs to dots when atoms or molcules ar selected and then pressed again. ━ Lone pair (Line): adds lone pairs as line and changes lone pairs to dots when atoms or molcules ar selected and then pressed again. This would bring the function of "Lone pair" "Dots" and "Line" together in to buttons.
I loved the addition of the teaching symbol. Still do. It makes it really easy to switch some of the most important settings while preparing material or teaching students, but I think the addition of Toolbar settings and display settings to the same symbol is counterintuitive. I think it is also nice to have these options under a symbol like the teaching options, but it should be a different symbol. Also I think they would be better placed next to the settings symbol.
Hey there, Today I let one of my student use MolDraw to better understand drawing skeletal formulas. The Teaching settings helped a lot. There was one thing that seemed counterintuitive. Clicking a bond makes it a double bond, but clicking it again makes it a single bond instead of a triple bond. In my opinion it should go from single to double to triple back to single bonds.
There should be a zoom scale icon beside the zoom in and out that serves two functions: select a zoom, but more importantly, tell us what zoom we currently are in.
In the color and style panel, the custom color can't be applied to the structure. It can only be selected.
Right now there is only one setting for the highlight format and it is too big. I would like to select different highlight thickness.
Right now, the bond thickness applies to all the molecules displayed even if there is a selction. The purpose is to create a tailored highlight.
Hi i would love to have the ability to change the Rms margin of the uff tool. This is both in terms of higher margins and lower margins. Kind regards Luna Hoffmann
