Adsorption isotherm template

Premium template. Preview and edit it free in MolDraw; downloading and exporting it is part of MolDraw Pro.
Stoppered flasks of charcoal in acetic acid of different concentrations, then filtration and titration of the filtrate with NaOH. University physical (BSc); IB / A-level extension.
What the template shows
- Acetic acid on activated charcoal: how much is adsorbed at each concentration
- Stoppered flasks
- Weighed charcoal (about 1 g) in 50 mL acetic acid, e.g. 0.05 to 0.5 M; stoppered so no acid evaporates
- Activated charcoal
- Shake often for 30 min or more at constant temperature
- Dry paper; discard the first few mL (the paper takes up some acid)
- Titrate the filtrate
- Against standard NaOH with phenolphthalein. x = (c₀ − c)V; plot log(x/m) against log c (Freundlich)
- Reaction setup
Drawn with 14 shapes – every one editable in MolDraw.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Adsorption isotherm template free?
You can preview the Adsorption isotherm template here and open and edit it in MolDraw for free. Downloading or exporting it is part of MolDraw Pro, together with the other premium templates.
Can I edit the Adsorption isotherm template?
Yes. It opens as an ordinary MolDraw drawing, so every structure, arrow, label and colour can be changed, and you can add your own content around it.
Is the chemistry checked?
Every structure is checked with RDKit and every curly arrow passes MolDraw’s electron-flow audit. The sources used are listed on this page.
Can I edit the glassware?
Yes. Every piece of glassware is a MolDraw apparatus object: move, resize, recolour the liquid or swap a piece and the joints stay connected.
