## What the template shows

- Remove volatile solvent quickly under reduced pressure
- Coolant out
- Bump trap
- Catches liquid that bumps or foams, so it does not reach the condenser
- Evaporating flask
- No more than half full; the motor turns it so a thin film of solution evaporates fast
- Water bath
- Coolant runs through the coil; solvent vapour condenses on it and drips into the receiver
- Pump or water aspirator; lower the pressure slowly to avoid bumping
- Receiving flask
- Condensed solvent; empty it before the next sample
- Reaction setup
