Feature MolDraw Community

  • Added a public Community page for chemistry discussions, workflow questions, feature requests, replies, and upvotes.
  • Signed-in users can create and edit posts, reply to comments, upload images, and choose a profile avatar.
  • Feature requests now support community voting and admin status labels: new, under review, under progress, and done.

Feature Local Drawings Dashboard

  • Drawings now autosave locally as you work, without needing a manual save button.
  • Use New design to start a fresh session while keeping the current drawing saved locally.
  • Saved drawings appear as local project cards in the dashboard with previews and open/delete actions.
  • Projects are saved in the current browser for now. Cloud saving is coming soon.

Fix Header, Dropdown & Transparent PNG

  • Fixed More dropdown layering so it always appears above the top bar and no longer clips.
  • Improved top bar action area with cleaner behavior for dense controls.
  • Updated Transparent PNG export to remove full background regions (including enclosed white areas) for true transparent output.

  • Added a toolbar option to request new MolDraw features.
  • Requests can include a title, description, contact details, and optional screenshots or images.

Feature Molecule Properties Panel

  • New properties card in the 3D viewer showing compound name, IUPAC name, molecular mass, boiling point, and melting point.
  • Properties are fetched automatically from PubChem when a structure is loaded or drawn.

AI Gemini Chat Assistant

  • AI chat assistant in the 3D viewer panel powered by Google Gemini.
  • Ask about IUPAC names, molecular properties, or instruct the AI to draw/edit structures on the canvas.
  • Removed legacy Crisp chat widget.

Feature Accumulative PubChem Imports

  • Importing a molecule from PubChem now adds it alongside existing structures on the 2D canvas instead of replacing them.
  • 3D viewer also accumulates imported molecules.

Feature IUPAC Name Lookup

  • Added an IUPAC button in the toolbar to look up the IUPAC name of the drawn structure via PubChem.
