# MolDraw: draw chemical structures online free

MolDraw is a free chemical structure editor that runs in the browser. It is not ChemDraw or ChemSketch, and it needs no install.

## What you can do

- Draw 2D structures, rings, reactions, curly-arrow mechanisms and reaction schemes.
- Open and save MOL, SDF, SMILES, CDXML and ChemDraw files; export PNG, SVG and PDF figures with journal style presets.
- View molecules in 3D, search compounds by name (PubChem) and convert between names and SMILES.
- Add plugins for NMR prediction, pKa, electrostatic potential surfaces, ChEMBL lookups and more (most need a free account).
- Use about 60 free tool pages (converters, calculators, spectrum viewers) without signing in. Spectrum files are read in the browser and not uploaded.
