# Reaction arrows

> Pick the Reaction arrow tool and drag between molecules. Choose the arrow kind in the top bar. Type reagents above or below the arrow.

1. Click **Reaction arrow** in the left rail.
2. Drag from the starting material to the product.
3. In the top bar, pick the kind: straight, equilibrium, retrosynthetic and more.
4. Click above or below the arrow to type reagents and conditions.

> **Tip:** Open **Chemistry** and click **Automap** to match atoms across the arrow.
